Recognized as a premier artist of his generation with several top
prizes in competitions, Andrew Daniel has toured extensively
throughout the United States and Europe.  After completing his
Master of Music degree from the University of Southern California in
1992, he was offered a European tour under the auspices of the
Andres Segovia Institute.  Settling in Germany in 1992, he founded
Duo Grazioso with a flutist from the Hamburg Opera and was a
frequent soloist with the Musica Vitae, Sweden's most distinguished
chamber group.  Andrew has appeared as a guest soloist in
numerous festivals (and with many orchestras), including Music in
the Mountains, The Rome Opera and the Valencia Chamber
Orchestra.  In addition to his concert stage performances, he has
appeared on several live radio programs, including his Eastern
European debut aired over Polish radio.  Andrew Daniel is professor
of Music and Humanities at
Northeast Texas Community College  
and adjunct professor of Guitar and Music History at
Dallas Baptist
University. He is currently working on a Ph.D. in Musicology from
the University of North Texas.
